Beaches

Greenwich's prime location on the banks of the Long Island Sound make it an ideal destination for a beach outing.

Byram Shore
This small, intimate beach looks out over Byram Harbor. Dive into the swimming pool. Pack a picnic for a day of fun in the sun. Take a break from the ocean and head over to the children’s playground. Perfect your serve on one of three tennis courts.

Greenwich Point
– Also known as Tod’s Point, Greenwich Point is one of the larger area beaches. Plan a relaxing day at this 147-acre peninsula. Windsurf in the bay. Grill hamburgers and hot dogs in the picnic area. Sunbathe with views of the New York skyline. Fish with your children. Jog or bike in this local favorite.

Island Beach
– Boasting four-acres, Island Beach offers concession stands, picnic areas and plenty of outdoor activities. Hop on the ferry, the only way to access the beach. Set up your tent in the campgrounds.
